Description
To repair and or replace coping stones and parapet walls at LOB upper parking lot per statement of work dated July 26, 2013. All contractor must be registered in SAM and ORCA. A site visit will be conducted on August 15, 2013 at 10:00am, our office recommends a representative from your company attend the site visit. The award is subject to availability of funds. The contract will be awarded using best value and technical acceptable. All proposal must be submitted on SF 1442 along with section B. This procurement is a Total Small Business Set Aside. Participation by HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB and EDWOSB is strongly encouraged. Estimated Range of the project clost is from $50,000 to $65,000 Questions and Answers from site visit conducted on 8/15/2013: Is any mortar found below the flashing to be removed? All loose and crumbling materials be removed. Do we assume all existing flashing is good and can be reinstalled? Yes Spec say to install new steel pins? Correct install new steel pins. Are there exising pins? How Many? Assuming yes and guessing 2 per stone. What is the spec and detail on the new pins and how man appropirate? Per industry standards for the specs. Are new pins to go through the existing flashing and new flashing? Yes per industry standards. Will parking spots on the dec be empty during construction? Yes. Per contractors daily schedule submittal with minimally 48 hours advance notice of specifically where work is to take place.
