- DESCRIPTION: This project consists in the construction of a new reinforced masonry building. The facility shall be built on a reinforced concrete foundation, with exterior walls that shall be insulated and painted. Internal partition walls shall be brick walls. Flooring shall be in porcelain gres ceramic tiles. False ceiling shall be in drop panel with acoustical insulation. The exterior appearance shall conform to the lines and colors of the attached drawings. The building shall be completed with all utilities including a central HVAC system, solar panels, electrical and lighting systems, fire alarm system, water, sewer, and communication systems, and predisposition only for the photovoltaic system. SOA : OG 01 CATEG. II FUNDING: The project is funded. PERFORMANCE SITE: The site for the work is the military installation in Torri di Quartesolo, (Caserma Ederle) Vicenza, Italy MAGNITUDE: The project amount is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This amount is informational only. The offerors are not bound to submit an offer within that range. SELECTION CRITERIA: Solicitation, with attachments, is posted on FEDBIZOPPS. TYPE OF CONTRACT: Design/Build, Firm-Fixed Price PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Design and build will be completed in a 280-day period. SITE VISIT: The site visit will take place 06 Sept 2013 at 0930. Interested vendors will meet at Torri Warehouse Gate, Via I Maggio, Torri di Quartesolo. Point of Contact for the Site Visit is Casey Gordon, casey.e.gordon.mil@mail.mil.
