- SYNOPSIS This solicitation is being posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Please feel free to use the FBO site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division has a requirement for metal treatments on machined items. In order to provide adequate customer support, the Government requires various machined items to receive surface treatments, including, but not limited to, plating, thermal heat treating, and corrosion preventative treatments. This effort ultimately supports the Navy's EA-6B, EA-18G, and other DoD platforms. A portion of this effort will be in support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements. It is anticipated this action will result in one or more five year firm fixed price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts, in accordance with FAR 52.216-27. The minimum/maximum costs of treatment orders are expected to be $1,500/$15,000 respectively. This effort is 100% set aside for small business concerns in accordance with FAR Subpart 19.5, "Set-Asides for Small Business". FAR Part 12 procedures will be utilized for this procurement. Small business concerns shall be within a 250 mile radius of NSWC Crane to be eligible for award. A solicitation will be made available at Fed Biz Opps. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which will be considered by the agency. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
