- Solicitation body. Replacement of Farmhouse Windows at the Grey Towers National Historic Site, Milford, PA. To be considered responsive, quotations shall include: • Completed SF1442 • Completed Section B - Schedule of Items and DUNS number • Completed Section K - Certs and Reps OR a copy of your SAM Certs and Reps • Completed Technical Proposal as described in Section M The USDA Forest Service Northern Research Station is announcing an opportunity to bid on a project to replace windows on a historic farmhouse at our Grey Towers site. This acquisition is a Small Business set-aside. In accordance with FAR Part 36.204(b), the estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238350. The Small Business Administration size standard is 14.0. Contractors are required to be actively registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database. THIS IS A COMBINED SOLICITATION/SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis, the pending solicitation or any follow up information requests. The solicitation will be posted to the FedBizOpps website on or about August 27, 2013. No hard copies of the solicitation, supporting documents and applicable amendments, if any, will be provided. To receive the entire solicitation package and any applicable amendments, prospective offeror's must download them from the FedBizOpps website. This request for bids covers all labor, materials, equipment, rentals, and subcontracted services to remove and install windows matching existing style. Any deviations from these assumptions shall be brought immediately to the attention of the Government. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to familiarize themselves with the site and the conditions of the project prior to submitting their proposal. Refer to attached drawing sheets and pictures. A site visit will be set at a later date.
