Description
PERFORMANCE STATEMENT OF WORK Barstow Marine Corps Logistics Branch Medical Clinic Radiology Out Patient Services BACKGROUND: To provide Radiology Services to the Barstow Branch Medical Clinic at Barstow Marine Corps Logistics Base and other contracted clinics from 01 OCT 2013 through 30 September, 2014. SCOPE: To provide continuity in the interpretation of diagnostic x-rays between the Occupational Health Detachment at Marine Corps Logistic Base, Barstow and the contracting clinics site. The contractor shall ensure services performed under this are compliant under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). OBJECTIVES: During working hours (Monday through Friday, 0730-1600), injured and/or ill Marine Corps Logistic Base employees reporting to Barstow Hospital for X-Rays must have wet readings completed and results provided to the Occupational Medicine Physician as soon as reasonably possible but no later than one hour after X-Rays are completed. Results of interpretations shall be conveyed either by telephone or written note. In any emergent or STAT situation, results must be provided within one to two hours of Radiology procedures performed. The Following is a list of typical X-Rays to be performed for the Clinic as indicated in Table I. Less than 1/20 second b. 1/1 0 second if single phase and less generator capacity than 300 milliamperes at 125 kilovolt peak or patient greater than 28 centimeters Milliamperes 300 or greater Kilovoltage 120 or greater Tasks/Requirements: The diagnostic imaging exams performed at the contractor's site will be interpreted by US Board Certified Radiologist. Written results of the interpretation shall be provided to the Occupational Health Detachment, Marine Base via fax (760) 577-6594 or electronically signed by U.S. board certified Radiologist. The Occupational Health Unit shall be notified immediately by telephone of any abnormal (high risk) results. Asbestos Chest X-Rays must be obtained according to Imaging System and X-Ray. The Contractor shall provide itemized monthly invoices for staff certification to Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton Occupational Health Medicine Clinic and Occupational Health Clinic Barstow. This is to ensure that payment can be promptly made in the WAWF (Area Wide Work Flow System) in DFAS. Invoices should include the number and type of X-Rays reviewed by a Board Certified Radiologist; payment will be made in WAWF on one CLIN for services rendered, paid monthly in arrears.
