Description

The Wilmington Veterans Affairs medical Center (WVAMC) intends to release a Request for Quote (RFQ) to procure CPU digital recording systems, Part Number: DRSHD1080P or EQUAL, with related accessories for the Wilmington VA Hospital. This procurement is anticipated to be procured Open Market on a brand name or equal basis. The VA anticipates issuing a solicitation for this requirement on or about 29 August 2013, with a closing date for proposals on or about 03 September 2013. The anticipated NAICS Code is 339112. If a firm believes it can meet the requirements specified above, it must furnish information about its products, services, and references from other customers who are using these products and services, to the Contracting Officer by 4:00 PM (EST), 03 September 2013. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer via email to April.Stanch@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government will based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the SAM.gov database. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit that SAM website and register as soon as possible to avoid delays should they be selected for a contract award. Questions concerning this announcement should be directed to the Contract Specialist using the e-mail address provided. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the FBO website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation or any amendments. All responsible sources may submit an offer that if timely received, will be considered. The solicitation will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available or telephone requests for paper copies of the solicitation will be accepted. The solicitation will provide full information to contractors about the proposal submission process. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the FBO website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation or any amendments. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Any responses to this synopsis should be sent to the attention of April Stanch April.Stanch@va.gov. These responses must be received by 02 September 2013.
