Description

Network Contracting Office 18 intends to solicit sources to provide Brand name ITAMAR. For the following items below: Statement of Work: Upgrade for Watch -PAT 200 for Respiratory Department at the Amarillo VA Health Care System. Scope of Work The Respiratory Department at the Thomas E Creek Medical Center would like to upgrade 12 sleep study devices and order an additional 3 at discounted price due to an upgrade - WATCH-PAT 200. This is a warranty upgrade which will replace the older sleep study devices that are not repairable or parts are unavailable. Would require respiratory to use the ITAMAR upgrade WATCH-PAT 200 equipment and a software upgrade should be included in the quoted price. Need brand name ITAMAR or equal to provide a 1 year warranty to include in-service training on the equipment. The equipment is needed due to the large amount of sleep studies requested from outlying areas and the time it takes for the patient to mail back the sleep study equipment (4-5 days) we can't meet the current 30 day VA guideline scheduling policy for new patients seen in the clinic. This acquisition shall be conducted through full and open competition and shall result in a single award of a firm-fixed price contract to the offeror whose proposal is most advantageous to the Government, technical, price and other factors considered. This North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code 621498, All other Outpatient Centers. The solicitation will be issued via the FedBizOpps at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. All interested parties must register on the FedBizOpps site in order to receive notification or changes and/or new postings to the solicitation. There will be no further pre-announcement of when the solicitation will be posted, however, the issuance date is anticipated on or about September 1, 2013. All potential offerors are reminded that in accordance with FAR 52.212-4, all contractors are required to be registered with the SAM database in order to conduct business with the Federal government. Lack of registration in SAM database may make an offeror ineligible for award. Each Offeror must have an established firm in the business called for, be financially sound, able to show evidence of reliability, ability, experience, facilities, and personnel directly employed by them to render prompt and satisfactory service. Contractors are requested to take into consideration the complexity and extent of the services to be performed for this procurement. Contractor shall be responsible to provide all equipment as described above.
