- Solicitation No. W81XWH-13-T-0358 will be issued on or about 28 August 2013 and quotes will be due on 04 September 2013 @ 4:00 PM EST. The Government requirement is to provide one (1) Insect Rearing Chamber, Model BC26-IN and Manufacturer BioCold Environmental, Inc/Brand Name or Equal. Programmable microprocessor-based PID temperature control with dual digital display, ultrasonic humidifier with mechanical humidistat, high capacity solid state thermo electric cooling system for below ambient operation, and ensure the Minimum Essential Characteristics (MECS) are read in its entirety. The required equipment entails development at for U.S. Army Medical Research Institution of Infectious Diseases, Fort Detrick, Maryland. (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516 with a size standard of 500 employees. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued by this contracting office. All interested parties can view, download and print a copy of the solicitation and any resulting amendments on or about 28 August 2013. In accordance with FAR 13.5 all contractors wishing to do business with the Department of Defense must be registered in the quote mark System for Award Management registration (SAM) can be accomplished at the following website: www.sam.gov. This procurement is small business set-aside 100%. Quotes will be evaluated on a Commercial Firm Fixed Price and any resulting contract will be issued as a Firm Fixed Price Award.
