- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta GA, VISN 7, contemplates negotiation of a sole source procurement with Getinge, Inc, 1777 East Henrietta Rd, Rochester NY 14623, for preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on sterilization equipment and generator, located at the VA Medical Center, One Freedom Way, Augusta GA. Each inspection shall be performed by a certified factory trained service representative of Getinge in accordance with established manufacturer procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 811219 with a size standard of $19 million. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all proposals received within 3 days after publication of this synopsis. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how their products/services meet VA requirements, to the Contracting Officer by fax 478-274-5588 or e-mail: Shirley.Adams@va.gov. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
