- This is a Presolicitation Notice Only. No contract shall be awarded from this Presolicitation Notice. The anticipated requirement is for Dry Ice (see below list), for Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Hood, Texas 76544. This requirement will be 100% Set-Aside for Small Business using NAICS code 325120, and number of employees less than 1,000. The period of performance will be 1 October 2013 through 30 September 2018. This acquisition will be procured under the authority of FAR 12 & 13. The government is anticipating a Firm Fixed Price contract. All interested parties can view, download, and print a copy of the solicitation and any resulting amendments on or about 4 September 2013. The solicitation will close on 18 September 2013. All contractors wishing to do business with the Department of Defense must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. CCR registration can be accomplished at the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Requirement for Dry Ice: Dry Ice 500lb, nuggets. Delivery schedule: 52 weeks. A delivery will be made each week on thursday between 0730 and 1600 hours to the customer and 2 as needed deliveries for a total of fifty-four (54) deliveries made. Delivery location: Robertson Blood Center, Bldg# 2250, 761st Tank Battalion Ave., Fort Hood, Texas 76544. Dry ice 500lb, nuggets. Delivery schedule: as needed, delivery will be made on thursday between 0730 and 1600 hours to the customer for a total of fifteen (15) as needed deliveries. Delivery location: DPM-Environmental Health Services, Bldg# 76022, Crockett St., West Fort Hood, Texas 76544. Dry ice 500lb, nuggets. Delivery schedule: 52 weeks. A delivery will be made each week on thursday between 0730 and 1600 hours to the customer for a total of fifty-two (52) deliveries made. Delivery location: Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Bldg# 36000, Rm# 1654 (Department of Pathology - first floor), Darnall Loop, Fort Hood, Texas 76544.
