Description

Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 12.6, 13.105, and 5.207, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number 13-223-SOL-00209 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates all mandatory firm-fixed price provisions and clauses for services that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-69 dated August 1, 2013. The Government intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order, in accordance with FAR Part 12, for the following Statement of Work. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334516, which is designated for Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, with a size standard of 500 employees. The Government reserves the right to award a contract without discussions if the Contracting Officer determines that the initial offers provide the Best Value to the Government and discussions are not necessary.
