- Description
- The purpose of this amendment to change procurement strategy from sole source to limited competition. Noticed changed to read as follows: The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst requires one Measuring Receiver 20Hz to 26.5GHz, P/N FSMR26-N for the P-3 FMS Taiwan program. The Government intends to issue a purchase order on a limited competition basis between Rhode & Schwarz Inc, 8661 Robert Fulton Dr STE A, Columbia MD, 21046 and its authorized distributor. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only manufacturer of the required equipment. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement.
