- Description
- The Contractor shall provide all parts, labor, materials, tools and equipment, transportation, supervision and all operations identified in the specifications for Project No. WRFD 13-1079, Replace Septic Tank, B1015, Tama, Japan. The following scope of work is expressed in general terms and in no way limits the Contractor's responsibility. Perform all work indicated in the specifications or accompanying drawings, which will be included in the solicitation package. The contractor is required to provide a complete and usable facility within the terms and conditions of this contract. The scope of work for this project includes but is not limited to: 1. Remove and dispose of sewage and sediment build-up inside the tank. 2. Disconnect existing inflow and outflow pipes. 3. Remove and dispose of the existing septic tank including base concrete and attachments. 4. Excavate, as necessary, to allow installation of new septic tank below ground level. 5. Install crashed stone and reinforced concrete base. 6. Install new septic tank for 30 people with digester and blower pump. Connect inflow and outflow pipes. 7. Install conduit and do necessary tasks to ensure blower pump is connected to the closest electrical panel. 8. Backfill the space adjacent to the tank with protection sand. 9. Install bollards around the septic tank. 10. Restore disturbed surface to conditions prior to start of work including installing turf which matches surrounding golf course. 11. Install a new breaker box and a weatherproof type receptacle outlet for the blower pump. 12. Install wiring and conduits to the blower pump and timer from the existing panel board which is in Bldg 1015. 13. Any other incidental work for meeting overall objective as described above. The magnitude of this project is expected between Y2,060,087 ($25,000.00) and Y8,240,350 ($100,000.00), in accordance with FAR 36.204 (b), which means the Government's Cost Estimate falls in this magnitude. Selection will be based upon evaluation factors which will be stipulated on the solicitation package. Site orientation will be held on 9 Sep 13, from 1000 hours at Bldg 1015 in Tama Recreation Area, Tokyo, Japan. All offerors are encouraged to participate in the site orientation. Please contact the Point of Contact (POC) below and receive the solicitation documents prior to the date of the site orientation. The whole package will not be posted on the FedBizOpps. If you need to attend the site visit, please make an appointment with the POC and come to the Tama Recreation Area (Tama Lodge Gate) by 0930 hours. You must bring the proper identification (valid passport or driver's lisence with 8 digits password). For the vehicle pass, please make sure you bring the proper original insurance docuemnts. Failure to provide the proper documentation may cause you not be able to enter the base.
