Description
This is a presolicitaiton notice therefore the Government is not seeking proposals in response to this notice. The requirement is set-aside 100% HUBZone Concerns. The Department of Labor (DOL), Veteran's Employment and Training Services (VETS) have a need to renovate their office space located in the Frances Perkins Building (FPB), 200 Constitution Ave, NW, S-1312, Washington, DC, 20210. The space renovation project will include construction modifications to the space layout, purchase, delivery and installation of new case goods and systems furniture. NAICS: 337214 The scope of work for this project includes but is not limited to: Provide complete design and furnish all parts, labor, tools and equipment, transportation, supervision and all operations identified in these contract documents for project the design and delivery of furniture. All work shall be completed to meet the specifications outlined in the associated solicitation. Government approval shall be obtained for submittals such as shop drawings, catalog cuts, color sample, and certification before starting on-site work. The magnitude of this project is expected between $100,000 and $250,000 in accordance with FAR 36.204 (d), which means the Government's Cost Estimate falls in this magnitude. Selection will be based upon evaluation factors which will be stipulated on the solicitation. For more details will be posted when determined. The acquisition will result in a single award Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The site visit is tentatively scheduled on 05 September 2013 at 11AM EST to 1130AM EST. Location: 200 Constitution Ave. NW, Washington D.C. 20210. Room S-1312. This requirement is limited to those small business concerns and the most appropriate procurement methodology is to use utilize the "HUBZone Price Evaluation Preference". The request for proposal and drawings will be posted to FBO.GOV on or about 27 August 2013.
