Description

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) to Driver's License Guide Co for the purchase of their copyrighted materials which will include (737) 10th Edition I.D. Checking Guide and (737) 2013 U.S. & Canada Checking Guide. Order delivery will be 2 weeks from date of contract award. These materials will be used by the IRS to verify original documents when taxpayers apply for Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITIN). The anticipated date of award is September 06, 2013. This NOTICE is NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ) and no solicitation will be publicized. However, if you are an authorized re-seller or distributer of the publisher Driver's License Guide Co and have the capabilities to fulfill this requirement, you may submit such capabilities in writing to the IRS Primary Point of Contact. Written response to this NOTICE shall include documentation that the publisher has accepted you as a re-seller or distributer for the I.D. Checking Guide and the Canada Checking Guide. Written response to this NOTICE must be provided to this office no later than September 05, 2013 by 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Your written capabilities to fulfill this requirement should include significant information to establish a basis for a competed action. Written response will be used to determine if this action will be made competitive. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government.
