- NOTE: THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1 as implemented by 10 USC 2304(c)(1). All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. However, all proposals received within six (6) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to Caron East, Inc. 429 N Mechanic St Cumberland, MD 21502 for the work described below. The contract provides CEMVN with a Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) known as the Sensefly eBee Mini Drone System that comes with 16 MP Camera Kit, NIR camera, extra batteries, spare pair of wings, extra propellers, elastic bands Includes licenses for the eMotion 2, and Postflight Terra 3D-EB software packages Provides a one-day training workshop at New Orleans headquarters to demonstrate operational use of the UAS as well as processing the data.
