Description

Intent to Sole Source: The Department of Veterans Affairs, John D. Dingell Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI 48201, intends to sole source to Jackson's Five Star Catering, 1111 E. Nine Mile Road, Ferndale, MI 48220, 248-629-1676. Jackson's Five Star Catering shall provide meals for the residence at the VA Medical Center Domiciliary, 4777 E. Outer Drive, Detroit, Michigan 48234. This proposed contract action is for the preparation and delivery of meals 7 days a week, which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. All FAR provisions and clauses maybe reviewed and/or obtained from he General Service internet address: http://www.gover/far. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposal contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be submitted no later than Friday, September 8, 2013 to the contracting officer indicated above. See numbered note 22. No E-Mail request will be accepted.
