Description
The Puget Sound (Seattle), WA VA Medical Center is seeking the following professional services: Project Scope: This contract combines both taxicab passenger service and package pick-up and delivery service. Both services shall require the contractor to provide door to door service including accompanying the VA beneficiary from the door of the pick-up point to the door of the destination. Service for packages shall include but not be limited to: blood supplies, serums, x-rays, medical records. This method of transporting these package items shall only be utilized whenever other established means of shipment, such as mail shuttle are not feasible. A Statement of Work (SOW) shall be included in the sources sought notice. The sources sought notice number is VA260-13-I-1413. This sources sought notice shall include the following NAICS code: "NAICS code 485310, for Taxi Service; Size Standard: $14 M This shall be a single award contract, and all offerors shall submit bids for all services to be considered responsive. Firms offering a response to this notice should ensure that their registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ is current and should ensure that the applicable NAICS code (485310) is included in the SAM profile prior to submission of quotations. It is estimated that the contract shall run from date of award through 07/31/2014, with 4 possible Option Years to exercise. The solicitation shall result in the award of a single contract. The resulting contract shall be a firm fixed-price contract. Interested parties are encouraged to register on the solicitation mailing list.
