Description

AMENDMENT 004 BID DATE AND TIME REMAIN THE SAME CLARIFICATION REGARDING SPRINKLER/FIRE PROTECTION DRAWINGS Comment from Offeror: There are no Sprinkler/Fire protection drawings. I looked at all of the attachments at the FedBizopps site and the only thing related to the Fire suppression system is the specification attached in Modification/Amendment #1. Please provide information on how we are to proceed without this critical drawing. Comment from Architect: General fire protection notes can be found on Drawings M-301-A and M-301-B along with a full sprinkler spec section. Basically the entire area is sprinklered; however, it will need to be modified as new walls dictate to be in compliance with NFPA 13. This is a performance specification with the final design provided by a sprinkler contractor. Area zone valves and sprinkler piping do exist; however, they must be verified to be sufficient per the final documents prepared by the sprinkler contractor Specifications include sections 21 05 11 / 21 08 00 / 21 13 13; which define the fire suppression/protection system.
