Description

The National Cemetery Administration, Philadelphia, PA, has a requirement for a specialized irrigation valve conforming to the following description to be delivered to the Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Boulevard, Calverton, NY 11933. This requirement will be used to form a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order for the delivery of the supplies for this fiscal year. Description: 6.0 inch Irrigation Zone Control Valve, 150 ASA Flanged Globe Pattern, Bronze Body ASTM B-62, SS Trim T304, Pilot Control 30-300 psi outlet range, PS Opening Feature, Manual Override, 24/60 VAC Solenoid, Special 2 Watt Coil Design, Remote Hydraulic Selector Switch Based on market research and engineering analysis, a determination has been made that insufficient competition exists in the commercial marketplace to justify competing this requirement and to therefore award this requirement on a Sole Source basis as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. All businesses that have an interest in being considered for this requirement are invited to submit a brief interest letter within 14 days of the award date that describes your capability to provide the required item as described above at an economical price. All responses received will be evaluated, and a determination by the government to solicit the instant procurement action is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The government will not reimburse any costs connected with providing the requested interest and capability information.
