- Joint Base Andrews is intending to award a firm fixed price (FFP) contract to repair cinder block wall at building 3086, located at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. This acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation and FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts. The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, materials and appliances and perform all operations necessary to repair damaged wall and roll up door. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (EPS) site at https://www.fbo.gov/. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code and be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/. In accordance with FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs, this action is 100% set-aside for Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Program. Offerors shall be reviewed and considered by the Agency. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, it does not restrict the Government's ultimate approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
