- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation is attached. This solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as a Request for Quote (RFQ) No. VA251-13-Q-0763. This solicitation closes on September 9, 2013 at 4pm EST. The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center intends to solicit proposals from contractors to provide all labor and travel to perform Preventative Maintenance and Emergency Repair Services for Research Equipment located at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center for the period of one (1) base year beginning October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015 and four (4) option years. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide full information to contractors about the proposal submission process. NAICS Code is 811219, and Size Standard is $19 Million. The solicitation will be issued as a Small Business Set Aside. All responsible sources may submit proposals which shall be considered by the Agency. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) data base at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit that SAM website and register as soon as possible to avoid delays should they be selected for a contract award.
