Description
This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside Solicitation The AFTC/PZIOAA, Operational Contracting Office, Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award firm-fixed price contract subject to the availability of funds. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition format, FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate, written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement is issued as Request for Quote (RFQ) # F1T3BD3240A001. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 321999, with small business size standard of 500 employees; please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. This acquisition is being solicited as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Offerors will be evaluated on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis IAW FAR 15.101-2 and the award will be made to the lowest priced offeror that meets the minimum requirement. The government will not accept refurbished/used equipment. There will be no advance payments. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of provision 52.212-3, Offer Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items and provision 252.209-7999, Representation by Corporations Regarding an Unpaid Delinquent Tax Liability or a Felony Conviction under any Federal Law, with their offer. This requirement is for: CLIN 0001: Marine buoy. Description: Standard/universally recognized marine buoy that informs boaters of restricted or other danger water areas. The buoy formally identifies the demarcation line of the shore. The buoys shall be white in color with orange reflective lettering. Each buoy shall float 42 inches above the water level. See attached picture of the required type of buoy; however, the wording shall read "Restricted Area" instead of "Boats keep out". Technical Requirements: Float Collar - Internal Ballast, bottom attachment with stainless steel eye. "restricted area" - Restricted area symbol. Buoy white with 14" diameter x 30" high can, 28" diameter x 12" high float collar, internal concrete ballast self-righting without mooring tackle, completely filled with polyurethane foam, ½" SS eyebolt thru with 3" I.D. mooring eye at bottom. 3" orange reflective band at top and 2" orange reflective band at bottom. Orange 11" x 14" restricted symbols two sides. Black letter two sides. Symbols and lettering shall be imprinted on the buoy. No decals are allowed. Reflective bands may be tape. Buoy shall have high impact ABS white exterior. Weight shall be 135 lbs, sub. Buoyancy shall be 320 lbs. QTY: 50 EA CLIN 0002: Anchor concrete 200# with ½" round steel eye.
