Description
The Regional Contracting Office (RCO) - Bogota intends to procure two (2) Media Video Teleconference (VTC) Suite, Model Polycom HDX 6000 Series to include required cables, microphones, mounting hardware, maintenance and warranty for the Air Force Mission - USMILGRP, Bogota, Colombia. Delivery will be made door to door to Miami, FL within 20 days after contract award. Detailed specifications will be included in the actual solicitation. The proposed action is for commercial items for which the Government intends to solicit and procure a brand name model under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Brand Name. This notice of intent is not a request for alternative brand and model. Interested offerors may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement within two (2) days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement with alternative brands/models. A determination by the Government not to consider alternative brands/models based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management SAM). The solicitation will be posted on ASFI/FBO and the U.S. Embassy - Bogota contracting website on or before 4 September 2013. It is the responsibility of the prospective offeror to monitor the website for the release of amendments (if any) or other information pertaining to the solicitation.
