Description
The U.S. Army Reserves currently has a requirement for Refuse/ Recycling Services at the BROCKTON USARC/AMSA #163 (MA005), located at 124 Manley Street Brockton, MA 02301-5509. The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, safety equipment, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to collect and dispose of Refuse and Recyclables. The period of performance for this requirement is anticipated to be 20-September-2013 to 19-September-2014 with 4 option years. This requirement will be set aside 100% for small businesses utilizing NAICS 562111 (Solid Waste Collection). The small business size standard for this NAICS is $12.5M. A solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps on or about 3-September-2013 and all responses shall be due NLT 17-September-2013 @ 12:00PM (EST). The anticipated award date will be 20-September-2013. Simplified acquisition procedure found at FAR part 13 will be utilized for this requirement. The contract will be awarded to the offeror whose offer is the lowest price that is found to be technically acceptable. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-59. To be eligible for contract award, all contractors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAMs) found at https://www.sam.gov. Representations and certifications must also be completed before award and can be done so at https://orca.bpn.gov/. Payments for the resulting contract will be made through Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). Contractors can register for WAWF at https://wawf.eb.mil/.
