- This requirement is to supply (1) Burst Diaphragm, TA/10W.125/.108, (Material is Tantalum/10 percent Tungsten). (2) Burst Diaphragm, C-103.125/.085, (Material is Columbium C-103 a Niobium alloy). (3) Burst Diaphragm C-103.106/.057 (Material is Columbium C-103 a Niobium alloy). (4) Screwed Insert Mach 14, (Material Stainless Steel 17-4PH), (5) Ablator Retaining Plate, (Material is Columbium C-103 a Niobium alloy), and (6) Nozzle Throat (Material is Columbium C-103 a Niobium alloy). Delivery shall be FOB Destination to AEDC White Oak, 10905 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring MD 20903. The solicitation document contains information that has been designated as "Militarily Critical Technical Data." Only businesses that have been certified by the Department of Defense, United States/Canada Joint Certification Office, and have a legitimate business purpose may have a copy of the solicitation documents. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about 10 April 2013. Offerors will be given a minimum of 30 days to respond to the solicitation. The RFP and related documents will only be available electronically at the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. Please register as a source to be notified of RFP amendments, clarifications, etc. However, it is the responsibility of the contractor (even those registered as a source) to check the FBO website frequently to ensure they have all available information. RELEASE OF TECHNICAL DATA PACKAGE INFORMATION: This procurement includes information that has been designated as "Distribution C" and is only releasable to U.S. Government agencies and their contractors. Furthermore, the drawings for the Burst Diaphragms, Screwed Insert, Ablator Retaining Plate, and Nozzle Throat contain technical data whose export is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act or the Export Administration Act. In order to receive export-controlled technical data, requestors must be certified by the Joint Certification Office (JCO) at the Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS) and have a legitimate business purpose. The FBO system determines access to the solicitation based on vendors Cage Code/MPIN.
