Description
FROM: 325th Contracting/LGCA 501 Illinois Avenue, Suite 5 Tyndall AFB, FL 32403-5526 Date: 4 September 2013 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals/quotes that are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation reference number is F4A3303217A002 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-67. This acquisition will be 100% total SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 326299. The business size standard is 500 employees. Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINS): 0001: 88L X 5.5W X 5.5T (IN) Rubber Dunnage made of 100% recycled tire rubber and plastic. Must be solid and will not crack or splinter, insect and termite proof. Also must be UV and water resistant, impervious to fluids and oils. QUANTITY: 180 UNIT: Each UNIT PRICE: _____________ AMOUNT: ____________ Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. All quotes need to include FOB destination with items being shipped to Tyndall AFB, FL 32403. In accordance with FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, the Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors(s) considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1. Technical Capability: The offeror's proposal will be evaluated against the description provided in CLIN. 2. Price: The lowest price technically acceptable offer will be considered for award upon confirmation of technical capability. Interested parties must include, with their quote, their CAGE code, tax identification number (TIN), and delivery date. Shipping terms will be F.O.B. Destination, Tyndall AFB, FL 32403-5526 with inspection and acceptance at destination. NOTE: Interested parties submitting quotes MUST also include descriptive literature that demonstrates functional capabilities of their product.
