- Synopsis: Network Contracting Office (NCO) 3 of the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source contract to Elekta, Inc, 4775 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Norcross, GA 30092, under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253 (c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The proposed procurement is for a preventive maintenance, software upgrades and technical support for the Mosaiq Patient Treatment Software (previous IMPAC) for the New Jersey Healthcare System located at 385 Tremont Avenue, East Orange, NJ 07018. The contractor shall be capable of providing all supervision, tools, equipment, labor, repairs and materials necessary to perform full service maintenance, software upgrades, service bulletins and alerts, online, telephone and email support, and on-call emergency support service. All technicians must be fully qualified and OEM certified. This procurement involved license and proprietary software. This agreement will be a firm fixed price contract. The period of performance will be October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014 with four (4) one year optional renewals. The North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 511210 and the size standard is $35.5 million. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest by providing a capability statement not later than September 18, 2013 at Noon. The capability statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
