Description
VETERANS AFFAIRS SEEKING MEDICAL SPACE The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to lease space yielding 6000 usable square feet of office and medical space in Charlotte, NC for the new Charlotte, NC Community Resource and Referral Center. The space must be handicap accessible in accordance with the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards (4 CFR 101-19.6, App A) and can be provided by new construction or modification of existing space. On-site parking for 50 vehicles is required including designated handicapped parking spaces specifically for VA usage. The lease will be a full service lease with a lease term for five (5) years, with one (1) five (5) year option for a total of ten (10) years. The available space must be within the following delineated area, Start: Where Atando Ave and I77 intersect (1) I77 and I277 intersect (2) I277 and N Davidson St intersection (3) N. Davidson St and Matheson Ave intersection (4) Matheson Ave turns into W 30th (5), then Norris Ave (6) Norris Ave and Statesville Ave intersection (7) Statesville Ave and Atando St (8) End where Atando Ave and I77 intersect (1) Interested offerors should contact Contract Specialist Daniel Rakes via E-Mail at Daniel.Rakes@va.gov or by mail at Daniel Rakes, Salisbury VAMC 1601 Brenner Ave. Bldg 21B Salisbury, NC 28144. Interested offerors must submit the address, property description, available square footage, and photographs. Also, a map or proof that the proposed property is within the delineated area is required. Contact is required by 4:30 EST September 13, 2013 The Government is limited by law (40 USC 278a, as Amended 10-1-81) to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for space. Please note: A market survey of properties offered for lease will be conducted by VA personnel. This advertisement is not a solicitation for offers, nor is it a request for proposals.
