Description
NASA/GSFC has a requirement for a Confocal Raman Microscope. The requirement for the tool is as follows: A Raman conforcal microscope system with a laser wavelength of 532 nm and at least 25 milliwatts that is properly stabilized and has narrow enough bandwidth to perform Raman mapping of submicron sized crystal domains, has the ability for full range detection (70 to 3500 wavenumber), has sample and laser visualization camera. and a xyz-motorized stage with a step size of 0.1 micron. The spectrometer shall have intensity filter wheels (e.g. 100%, 50%, 25%, 10%, 1% and 0.1%) controlled by a software. It shall include USB color camera for simultaneous visualization of the sample under white light illumination and the laser spot and the software. The system shall have confocal aperture for ideal spatial resolution and fluorescence rejection, the spectral resolution shall be at least 6.5 wavenumber full width at half maxima; and the system shall use high performance multichannel Charge-coupled device. The system shall come with a computer with the latest configuration and with a software package for data acuisition, Raman mapping, mapping data processing and storage options This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
