Description
SF-18 WORKSHOP IATTC Performance Work Statement This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a workshop (RFQ ATTACHED). This procurement is being procured in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. Interested parties must respond to this announcement within fifteen (15) calendar days of its publication. All responses must be in writing and may be faxed to 858-546-7004 or emailed to Pamela.g.jones@noaa.gov. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000. The office of NOAA, National Marine Fisheries Service, located at 8901 La Jolla Shores Drive, La Jolla, CA is seeking a contractor to provide a workshop that will bring together scientists from United States and Mexico to address fish stock assessment methods among quantitative ecologists from both countries. The contractor must have previous experience in organizing workshops and will be responsible for the overall scheduling of the workshop activity. Regular meetings between the contractor and the NMFS project leader will be required to outline the workshop agenda and schedule topics for discussion. Contractor personnel are required to do the work independently, generating high quality results in a timely manner. At the end of the performance period, the contractor is expected to submit a final report to the NMFS project leader. The Government does not provide insurance to the Contractor and, under most circumstances, is not liable for injuries suffered by the Contractor during the performance of duties. The Western Acquisition Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). Award will not be made to any contractor that is not registered in SAM. The System for Award Management portal is the single source for vendor data for the federal government. For additional information and to register in SAM, please access the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. In order to register with SAM and to be eligible to receive an award, all offerors must have a Dun and Bradstreet number, which may be acquired free of charge by contacting Dun and Bradstreet on line at http://fedgov.dnb.com/webform or by phone at 1-866-705-5711. The government encourages all contractors to submit their Representations and Certifications on-line at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
