- Documentation of Award In accordance with FAR 13.106-3, the following is the basis for: "Contracting Officer's Award Decision" Solicitation No.: AG-63PX-S-13-0025 Supply/Service: Awning Replacement Contract/PO No.: AG-63PX-P-13-0090 Awarded To: Reeves Awning Per FAR 13.106-3, before making award, the contracting officer must determine that the proposed price is fair and reasonable and the "best value" for the government. This determination and basis for award is, hereby, documented for the contract file. (1) Award is based on Open Market buying reasonableness per competitive quotations or offers. (2) Award is determined reasonable based on: (i) _x__ Market Research: Federal Business Opportunities-FBO (ii) ___ Comparison of the proposed price with prices found reasonable on previous purchases. (iii) ___ Current price lists, catalogs, or advertisements. (iv) __ A comparison with similar items in a related industry (v) ___ The contracting officer's personal knowledge of item being purchased: (vi) ___ Comparison to an independent Government estimate: (vii) _x_ Other reasonable basis: Quotes received on FBO. Reeves Awning provided acceptable Evaluation Factors which included Past Performance, Experience, and a Sustainable plan that clearly stated the utilization of BioPreferred and Sustainable products and operation.
