Description

Sole Source letter NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD ON A SOLE-SOURCE BASIS: Pursuant of FAR 6.302-1 " Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements," the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Federal Investigative Services Division (FISD) intends to award a sole-source order for the tRelational/DPS software maintenance renewal. Market research was conducted to determine if anyone other than Treehouse Software could supply the support for its software Maintenance renewal on the machines. As such there were no other known viable support solutions for this software product; these products are proprietary in nature and the computer source code is not in the public domain. The acquisition of these products was done in previous OPM approved contracting actions. The North American Standard Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for action is 511210 - Computer Mainframe upgrade. This is not a solicitation for quotations, but rather a notice of the Agency's intent to make a sole-source award to Decision Technology. There will be no solicitation issued or available. This notice is for information only. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS, AN INVITATION FOR BIDS, OR A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS.
