Description
Salient Characteristics Fill out this RFQ This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA5205-13-Q-LM21; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-69, DPN 20130808, and AFAC 2013 Baseline. This acquisition will be full and open competition; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332911. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 4210. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3491. CLIN 0001: MFG: Mueller or equal Fire Hydrants - 10/EA Model: A-421 or equal Open Direction: Left Shoe: 6" Operating Nut: 1-1/2" Pentagon Upper Barrel: 3 Ways Hose Nozzle size: 2-1/2" NST, Pumper Nozzle size: 4-1/2" NSD, Drains: Open, Lower Barrel: 48" Full salient characteristics attached. Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. EVALUATION CRITERIA: Evaluation of offers will be completed in accordance with FAR 13.106-2. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and represents the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: A) TECHNICAL ACCEPTABILITY - All offers must meet the requirements as set forth in this combined synopsis/solicitation. B) PRICE - The price proposed by the offeror will be included as part of the evaluation. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition.
