Description
DLA anticipates issuing SPRBL1-13-R-0042 for a one-time purchase for the following: Description: NSN 5895-01-351-4485 is being procured in accordance with drawing A3106067-1 and all related data. The total quantity required for NSN 5895-01-351-4485 is 81 each to be shipped to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070-5000. This requirement includes a 100% option to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. This solicitation is an RFP and will be available on the Internet at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi?ASFI_FAQ.cfm after the issue date of on or about 08/16/13; hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Technical drawings are available after the same issue date on the Internet at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi?ASFI_FAQ.cfm/ under the attachment tab. This solicitation is not set-aside for small business concerns. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance. The required delivery for NSN 5895-01-351-4485 is 10 each in 270 days, 25 each in 300 days and 25 each month thereafter until completion of the order with first article. The required delivery for NSN 5895-01-351-4485 is 25 each in 210 days, 25 each in 240 days and 25 each month thereafter until completion of the order without first article. Based on market research this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item with 15 days of this notice. All parties interested in doing business with Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) (ACC - APG (C4ISR)) and DLA Land at Aberdeen are invited to access the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi?ASFI_FAQ.cfm. Upon accessing this web page, look for the tab titled quote mark ASFI for Industry quote mark. Under the quote mark ASFI for Industry quote mark tab you will be able to: check for business opportunities by clicking on the Contract Opportunities Search link, receive notifications by clicking on the Vendor Notification Service link.
