Amendment 0002 has been posted as an attachment. The proposal due date has been changed to 2:00pm EST on September 12, 2013 as a result of Amendment 0002. Interested parties must submit signed copies of Amendment 0001 and Amendment 0002 as part of the proposal. ************************************************************* Amendment 0001 has been posted as an attachment. The due date for proposals has not changed. ************************************************************** The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is posting this Screening Information Request (SIR)/Request For Proposal (RFP) in order to fulfill the FAA ™s requirement to construct a 20 ™ x 50 ™ storage building at the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Pomona, NJ. This is also the announcement for the mandatory site visit (date and time shown below) in conjunction with the SIR/RFP. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred for attendance at the site visit or preparing responses to this announcement. Therefore, any costs associated with the site visit or response to the RFP is solely at the interested vendor's expense. This procurement is set-aside for Small Businesses. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this effort is 236210 śIndustrial Building Construction ť with a size standard of $33.5 million. This procurement has an anticipated dollar threshold range between $150,000 and $200,000.00. All potential vendors must be registered in the https://www.sam.gov for consideration of this award. A MANDATORY Site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 9:00 am EST. The site visit is at the Federal Aviation Administration William J. Hughes Technical Center, located next to Atlantic City International Airport, Pomona, New Jersey. You will need to check in at security (Security Operations Center, Building 320, directly outside the Main Gate), so please allow plenty of time for processing. Attendance at the site visit is mandatory. Vendor proposals received without attendance at the mandatory site visit will not be considered. All interested vendors must respond by email to Harry.Lutz@faa.gov, with your company's name, list of persons attending the mandatory site visit and contact information. Maximum number of attendees from any one company is three. The deadline for responses to attend the site visit is Monday, August, 26, 2013 at 3:00pm EST. Interested parties are instructed to review the SIR/RFP to familiarize yourself and your company with the requirements of this effort. Only vendors who respond to this announcement and attend the mandatory site visit will be permitted to submit a proposal. All questions regarding all requirements of the request for offer must be submitted via email to the Contracting Officer, Harry.Lutz@faa.gov no later than September 4, 2013. No telephonic inquires will be accepted. Offeror ™s submissions are due by 2:00pm EST on Tuesday September 10, 2013.
