Description

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Research & Development Center (RDC) intends to negotiate and award a sole-source fixed price purchase order to L-3.Avation Recorders of Sarasota, Florida to provide L-3 Protec Marine Automatic Identification System with Separate Receive and Transmit 100W TX capability and for AIS Atonunits for the RDC to complete on research the transmitting capabilities, which are installed in 90 USCG sites throughout the nation. This procurement is being pursued under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334220. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this requirement to the above address. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed purchase order based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurement(s). To be eligible for award, offerors must be registered with the Systems for Acquisition Management (SAM): www.sam.gov.
