Description
Survival Kit Bid Schedules This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number FA4625-13-Q-0046. This procurement is a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this s acquisition is 339999. For the purpose of this procurement the small business size standard is 500 employees. All offers are to remain valid for a period of 60 days or more. Basis for Award; the Government will award a contract from this solicitation to the responsible offeror who offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. Items required are listed below: Emergency Survival Clothing Shelter and Sleep System (Qty 50 Kits) - also known as ACES II, B-2 Configuration Part # W-ESSS. Indiv Item Quantity Description Total Price Poncho 1 Insulated, waterproof/water resistant/FR/Multicam pattern/reversible (black) with international orange colored panels Pants 1 Insulated, waterproof/water resistant/FR/Multicam pattern/reversible (black) with international orange colored panels Boot Covers 2 Insulated, waterproof/water resistant/Multicam pattern. Mitts 2 Insulated, waterproof/water resistant/Multicam pattern. Balaclava 1 Insulated, waterproof/water resistant/Multicam pattern. Stuff Sack 1 Insulated, waterproof/water resistant/Multicam pattern. Total Price Per Kit: Total Price for 50 Kits: Remarks: Insulation must be made of continuous filament fiber material. All items must be vacuum packed (14.5" X 14.5" X 1.75") Note: Equal Items will be acceptable upon determination of technical acceptability. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to award to other than the low bidder based on the following items in the respective order: price; technical acceptability. Contractors bidding "Or Equal" items must provide pictures/specifications of items that will meet minimum salient characteristics of the items requested. The offer submittal shall list the item by part number, number of items being offered, product description as listed above and list the manufacturer. The offer shall list unit prices and an overall total price. Delivery requirements: FOB Destination quotations are the only quotes that will be accepted. FOB origin offers will not be considered.
