This competitive effort has identified incidental construction work. The construction element consists of removing the old platforms, preparing the pool surface, and installing the new platforms. The platforms will be made of a non corrosive hard plastic like material. The expectation is that the platforms will be secured to the pool deck using epoxy anchor bolts. Additionally, each of the platforms has an electrical line connected at the base of the platform, which runs up along the side of the platform leading to the controls for the overhead hoist. The electrical connections and controls will be disconnected during removal and reattached to the new platforms. This notice is for informational purposes only. This is not a request for proposal. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents is strictly voluntary.
