- Questions and Answers Statement of Work - Revised 05 Sep 2013 Solicitation Terms and Conditions Solicitation AG-7442-S-13-0070 Production of two 30 minute High Definition Video Segments to be Aired on RFD-TV. Description: Production of 2 episodes of a half-hour television program, on the Lesser Prairie Chicken (LEPC), and conservation initiatives relating to the Lesser Prairie Chicken, to be nationally broadcast on the RFD-TV network. The programs will have a primary audience of ranchers, farmers, and owners/managers of working lands located in habitat and/or potential habitat of lesser prairie chickens in the Texas panhandle region. The programs will highlight the work of the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) with Soil & Water Conservation Districts (SWCD) and landowners as professionals assist the landowners develop conservation plans that maintain and/or improve the habitat of lesser prairie chickens and still maintain economically sustainable agricultural enterprises. The contractor must have knowledge of NRCS, SWCD's, and conservation programs in Texas; and must be responsive to the needs and requirements of the landowners and NRCS and SWCD personnel. It is beneficial for the contractor to be familiar with the Texas and Oklahoma panhandle regions, and to be knowledgeable of conservation planning, wildlife management, grazing management and the geographic subject areas. The contractor camera crew must have experience shooting episodes in the field; and especially, shooting landscape scenes with close-ups of Texas wildlife, i.e. Lesser Prairie Chickens co-mingling with livestock. Due to the uniqueness of the Texas Panhandle region and of the LEPC, the contractor should plan to do several on-site shoots (3-6) to complete the 2 half-hour Out On The Land RFD-TV episodes by December 31, 2014. Contractor will work with a NRCS technical representative and local SWCD personnel to identify the landowners and locations for the shoots.
