Description

This is a notice of intent to add items not on the Federal Supply Schedule to FSS order VA243-13-F-0852, in accordance with FAR 8.402, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a notice of intent to add an open market item to Radiometer America Inc.'s task order VA243-13-F-0852. The item in reference is the modification of two ABL 800 Series Analyzers to allow for the analysis of Pleural Fluid. The upgrade will include all hardware, software, and labor necessary to allow for Pleural Fluid analysis, also including in-service and user training. This will be awarded to Radiometer America Inc., seeing as they have the intellectual property rights on the current analyzers, as well as the rights on the software and any use of another non-authorized persons would void the warranty currently in place. This notice of intent is for information purposes only. All sources eligible to provide this service must respond in writing. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly articulate the ability to provide services outlined above or why the item should not be awarded to Radiometer America Inc. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response.
