- Description
- The Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department intends to procure KVH V7 Standard F-2 and M250 Airtime Plans for the Commander US Naval Forces Central Command in Bahrain. The applicable NAICS Code is 334220, small business size standard 750. The proposed requirement will be awarded under a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source Contract to Mackay Communications, Inc and will utilize procedures under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This procurement is deemed Sole Source due to the requirement for technical and system compliant information with current system infrastructure currently in place with US Central Command. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations; however, all responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov.
