- Synopsis of Work Burner #1 Replacement; 400 HP Cleaver Brook (CB) Boiler Provide labor and materials necessary to remove the existing burner, forced draft fan, windbox, gas and fuel oil piping, as required to prepare Boiler 1 for installation of the new burner, including removal of all power and control wiring and conduit. Provide and install one new ProFire NTD168LGR-30S-6P dual fuel burner (natural gas & #2 fuel oil). Provide and install one new 25 hp integral forced draft fan and AB Poerflex 400 variable frequency drive. Provide and install one new natural gas train, complete with controls, valves, safeties, and piping. Provide and install one new fuel oil gas train, complete with controls, valves, safeties, and piping. The existing propane backup pilot gas system to be reinstalled. Provide one new Flue Gas Recirculation NEMA 4 servo, to mount on existing FGR control valve. Re-pipe FGR as required to mate to new burner arrangement. All FGR piping to be insulated, complete with aluminum jacket. Provide and install one new atomizing air compressor, to match air compressors previously installed for Boilers 2, 3 & 4. Provide and install new electric solenoid valves into air feed of opacity monitors located on each boiler stack. Each solenoid valve will be powered from its corresponding boiler control panel, to open when the boiler is operating, and closed when the boiler is secured. All CB Burner material, specialties, air compressor, start-up and burner performance testing to be provided I performed by CB local representative. CB local representative is Delval Equipment. CB or their representative will provide technical assistance two (2) visits per week for the duration of the Burner, installation. 1)The NTD series burner is gun style and will require a support or platform to be built underneath of it. 2)Estimated Up to 5-1Turndown on Gas 3)CB Package burner include CB blue paint (must be provided) 4)Gas pressure gauges, T connections and vent lines, lockable plug valves by others, (2) gas POC override and oil POC override on panel not recommended. Existing to be modified 5)<30 PPM NOx on natural gas. <90 PPM NOx on oil (Fuel bound nitrogen not to exceed 0.015% by weight. Furnace back pressure not to exceed 4n we.) CO <200 PPM at 5-1 Turndown 6)Minimal Factory test (spin and balance motor, check point to point electrical) due to no factory panel and no factory gas train 7)4 PSI gas pressure required at boiler manifold 8)Compressor included in this Contract 9)Electronic submittal copies are standard 10)No asbestos abatement is needed in the Contract 11)Warranty will be 18 months from the date of shipment or 1year from the date of acceptance by the VA For NT Burners, the following FGR parameters must be followed: 1)Furnace draft at FGR take off to be controlled within -0.25"wc. and +o.25"wc. with FGR damper 2)FGR ducting to be insulated to temperatures between 325 ° - 575 °F 3)FGR ducting Op to be kept below 0.15" with FGR damper 4)Water trap to be installed upstream of burner FGR metering Valve END
