- AOC SHARP Brand Name Justification This is a public notice for acquisition over $25,000.00. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared and processed in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this announcement. This is a solicitation from the United States Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Aircraft Operations Center (AOC), MacDill AFB, FL. The requirements are: 1) provide a SHARP super mini mill, 2) Reinshaw tool setter and probe, 3) installation of both to include software and training, and 4) shipping to AOC at Macdill AFB, FL. This notice constitutes the only Request for Quote (RFQ). Written offers are being requested. A hardcopy written RFQ will not be issued. Attached to this RFQ is the justification for other than full and open competition, brand name, that details the specifics for requiring the SHARP mini mill. NOAA EAD-KC requires that all contractors doing business with this office be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). No award can be made to a company not registered in SAM. For additional information and to register in SAM, please access the following web site: http://www.sam.gov. In order to register, all firms must have a Dunn & Bradstreet Number. Prices quoted for contract line item numbers CLIN 0001, 0002, 0003 shall be firm-fixed-price inclusive of all costs. CLIN 0004 is an estimated not-to-exceed price. LINE ITEM 0001: Provide SHARP CNC SV-2414SE super mini mill with FANUC Oi-MD high precision compact vertical machining center. One (1) EA $___________ LINE ITEM 0002: Provide REINSHAW tool setter and probe which includes the OMP40-OTS Dual Probe Retrofit Kit and Cat 40 Shank for OMP40 & OMP400 for Cat 40 Topper. One (1) EA $_________________ LINE ITEM 0003: Provide installation at AOC for above items, including software and training for 4 days on-site and all travel expenses. Quotes submitted in response to this notice must include pricing for all CLINs in order to be considered responsive to this request. The evaluation of quotes will be conducted as a commercial item acquisition. The evaluation of quotes shall be based on the offerors responsiveness to the items listed, lowest price, and best delivery date. All responsible offerors may submit a response to this notice that will be considered by the agency.
