- See REQUEST FOR QUOTE - W91247-13-T-0437 Attached for details. ____________________________________________________________________________________ 1.This is a Pre-Solicitation and Site Visit Notice for Request for Quote (RFQ) Number W91247-13-T-0437. 2.DESCRIPTION OF COMMODITY: Department of Public Works (DPW) has a requirement for Project Number FZ20013-3P to replace a traffic signal at the intersection of Canopy Lane and Hefner Drive, located on Fort Bragg, North Carolina. 3.The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, tools, supervision and any other items necessary to complete the required construction work stated herein to replace a traffic signal assembly (which includes metal pole with single mast arm, metal pole foundation, two 12 quote mark 3-section signal head (#21 & #22), one 12 quote mark 4-section signal head (#51), and all necessary signal cables, traffic controls and control wiring, and system checks) that was destroyed during a traffic accident. The attached as-built drawings by THOMPSON ENGINEERING SERVICE (drawing sheets No. 1 & 2) are to be used as a reference to reconstruct/replace the traffic signal assembly that was destroyed. The traffic signal assembly shall match the design, materials and equipment of the existing traffic signals located at the intersection. Upon its completion, the traffic signal assembly shall be fully functional and cohesively work with the other traffic signals at the intersection in accordance with the phasing diagram, tables, and charts. 4.PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Starting date is five (5) calendar days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) and shall be completed within 30 days after issuance of the NTP. 5.This requirement was determined to be classified under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 238210; Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, which industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in installing and servicing electrical wiring and equipment. Contractors included in this industry may include both the parts and labor when performing work. These contractors may perform new work, additions, alterations, maintenance, and repairs. The corresponding size standard is $14M Employees. It is anticipated that a RFQ W91247-13-T-0437 will be posted electronically on or about 22 July 2013 to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the RFQ Solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon all interested parties to review this site frequently for any update/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), which is the Official U.S. Government system that consolidated the capabilities of CCR/FedReg, ORCA, and EPLS. There is NO fee to register for this site. Prior to the release of the final RFQ, you are invited to attend a site visit conducted for the Directorate of the Public Works (DPW) for Construction Repair and Maintenance at the northwest corner intersection of Canopy Lane and Hefner Drive, located on the Fort Bragg, North Carolina Installation to Replace Traffic Signal (See Statement of Work (SOW) and drawings for details). All questions pertaining to the site visit or this pre-solicitation notice shall be directed toward Contract Specialist, Khristina M.
