Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Western Service Area has a requirement to provide Janitorial Services at the FAA Salt Lake City Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC), NEMC Building, and Child Care Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Services are to commence on or about October 1, 2013 thru September 30, 2014 for an initial base year, plus Four (4) one-year options running from October thru September. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, transportation and supervision to provide janitorial services 7 days a week, including weekends and all holidays. THIS SOLICITATION HAS BEEN 100% SET-ASIDE FOR COMPETITION AMOUNG SEDB/8(a) BUSINESSES ONLY FOR NAICS CODE 561720. The purpose of this web posting is to solicit offers for the subject project. The estimated procurement value for the subject project is estimated between $2,000,000 and $3,000,000 for the initial base year with 4 option years. The contractor awarded the contract must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) before award can be made. Contractors can register at www.sam.gov. NAICS Code is 561720 This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has programs to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short Term receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
