Description: This is a Sources Sought announcement. There is no RFQ available at this time. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Regional Office (VARO) Milwaukee, WI is conducting market research to determine the existence of companies that can perform the following: Annual preventive maintenance and on call repair service for our Linescan, PX series x-ray screening system. Place of Performance: VA Regional Office, 5400 W. National Avenue, Milwaukee, WI. 53214. X-ray screening system - Manufacture L-3 Communications, model PX2000, S/N PX2767. Any interested and qualified sources are requested to provide a brief capabilities statement and a letter of interest to the contracting officer Eural Bennett via email to eural.bennett1@va.gov. As part of your capability statement please include any current or past contracts you have been awarded or the ability to obtain sufficient proof of capability for this type of contract. In addition include what socio-economic category your company qualifies as (i.e Small Business, SBA Certified HUB Zone Firm, SBA Certified Small Disadvantaged Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Veteran Owned Business, and Woman Owned Business). Any information provided is strictly voluntary. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice. To be considered in this research, please provide the information above not later than 2:00 CST on September 11, 2013.
