- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, VISN 18 intends to issue a Request for Proposal for a multi-year contract for Air Ambulance Services. This is a pre-solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format specified in the Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 5.203(a), as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. The acquisition will be a set-aside 100% for small business in accordance with FAR 19. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 621910, Ambulance Services, with a small business size standard of $14 million. The period of performance will be for one (1) Base Year, plus four (4) Option Years from date of award. The Contract shall furnish 24 hours per day, seven (7) days per week, ground ambulance transport services for the Albuquerque VA Health Care System. Source selection determination will be made on the basis of Best Value Tradeoffs - The Government will award a contract to the responsible offeror whose proposal, conforming to the solicitation, is fair and reasonable, and has been determined to be the most advantageous to the Government, past performance, technical and price considered. Solicitation number VA258-13-R-1002, will be posted on or about 11 September 2013. The date for receipt of offers shall be 20 September 2013.
