- Description
- The Contractor shall provide all parts, labor, materials, tools and equipment, transportation, supervision and all operations identified in the specifications for Project No. ZNRE 11-1077, Repair AFFF Sprinkler System, B906, Yokota Air Base, Japan. Perform all work indicated in specifications or accompanying drawings, which will be included in the solicitation package. The contractor is required to provide a complete and usable facility within the terms and conditions of the contract. The scope of work for this project includes but is not limited to: - Replace existing power and control conduits/wiring between chiller unit and disconnect switch and pull box with new. New power and control conduits/wiring necessary for the relocated chiller ducts. - Replace existing AFFF sprinkler piping, valves, water motor gongs, accessories, and fittings in mechanical room, hangar area, and exterior with new. - Replace and relocate existing chiller piping, valves, auto-air vents, flexible connection, thermometers, fittings, and accessories with new. - Install precast concrete U-gutter with concrete cover from mechanical room to Hangar 906 across the existing precast U-ditch. Also, construct concrete U-gutter with galvanized steel grating cover at the inside area and connect to the existing U-shape ditch. The magnitude of this project is expected between Y8,240,350 and Y20,600,875 ($100,000.00 and $250,000.00), in accordance with FAR 36.204 (f), which means the Government's Cost Estimate falls in this magnitude. Selection will be based upon evaluation factors which will be stipulated on the solicitation. The site visits is scheduled on 24 Sep 2013 at 0900 hours, JST. If you need to attend the site visit, please make an appointment with the POC and come to the Gate 5 (Supply Gate) by 0830 hours to obtain the passes. You must bring the proper identification (valid passport or driver's license with 8 digits password). For the vehicle pass, please make sure you bring the proper original insurance documents. Failure to provide the proper documentation may cause you not be able to enter the base.
