- Description
- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for a Model JEPCu2935 JetEtch Pro CuProtect Decapsulator. <p> NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from Nisene Technology Group only. We have a similar model in the Lab and our engineers are familiar, therefore, to install a new device would cost the Government a significant amount of money in training and the learning curve would be steep. Further, the Jet Etcher Nisene equipment can use a single gas bottle/regulator which is a minimum requirement. <p> Authority is FAR 13.106B(1) Only one source reasonably available. <p> This procurement will be processed using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. <p> The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. <p> This synopsis shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information solicited. <p> Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on September 24, 2013.Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. <p> Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. <p> All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. <p> NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
